While you read this email, someone is calling your contacts. Not your contacts as in your phone. Your contacts as in the people who should be YOUR clients. Your former colleague who needs exactly what you sell? Someone else is pitching them right now. Your neighbour who’s been thinking about solving that problem you solve? A competitor just sent them a WhatsApp. Your church member who runs a company that could use your services? They just signed with someone else. Not because that person is better than you. Because they asked. And you didn’t. THE TERRITORY YOU’RE LOSING You think your relationships are safe. “They know me. When they need what I offer, they’ll come to me.”
Wrong. They’re not thinking about you. They’re thinking about their problems. And whoever shows up first with a solution wins. That’s not you. You’re waiting to be remembered. While hunters are out there making sure they’re never forgotten. THE PHONE CALL YOU’LL NEVER KNOW ABOUT Here’s what’s happening right now. Someone in your network is talking to a friend. That friend mentions a problem. “I need a good accountant.” “Know anyone who does marketing?” “We’re looking for a training company.” Your name should come up. But it doesn’t. Why? Because you never positioned yourself. You never made it clear what you do and who you help. You never asked them to think of you. So they recommend whoever asked last. Whoever showed up. Whoever was top of mind. And you never even know the conversation happened. THE DEAL YOU LOST LAST WEEK Think about this. Last week, someone in your network made a buying decision. They needed a product or service you offer. Or they knew someone who did. Did they call you? No. Did they even think of you? Probably not. That deal is gone. That money went to someone else. A competitor. A stranger. Anyone but you. Not because you couldn’t deliver. Because you weren’t in the conversation. WHILE YOU WAIT, THEY HUNT There are two types of people in business. Those who wait to be found. And those who go find. Waiters hope their reputation speaks for itself. Waiters hope people remember them. Waiters hope referrals magically appear. Hunters don’t hope. Hunters act. They call. They message. They show up. They ask. They follow up. Every day, hunters are eating into your territory. Calling the people you should be calling. Closing the deals you should be closing. And you’re letting them. YOUR NETWORK IS NOT LOYAL Harsh truth. Your network is not waiting for you. They’re not saving opportunities until you’re ready to ask. They’re not holding off on decisions until you show up. They have problems. They want solutions. They’ll buy from whoever offers one. If that’s not you, it’s someone else. Today. This week. Right now. Loyalty is earned through presence. Through service. Through showing up consistently. Not through hoping people remember you from five years ago. THE COMPETITOR ADVANTAGE Your competitor doesn’t have better products. Your competitor doesn’t have better prices. Your competitor doesn’t have a better network. Your competitor just asks more. They call more. They message more. They follow up more. They’re present more. That’s it. That’s the whole advantage. And it’s an advantage you’re handing them. Every day you stay quiet. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Seriously. What are you waiting for? Permission? You don’t need it. The perfect moment? It doesn’t exist. For people to come to you? They won’t. Every day you wait is a day your competitors advance. A day your territory shrinks. A day your opportunities go to someone else. The market doesn’t care about your comfort. The market rewards action. TAKE BACK YOUR TERRITORY It’s time to stop waiting. Time to stop being polite while others take what should be yours. Time to start hunting. On April 30th, I’m teaching you exactly how. How to reclaim your network. How to position yourself so people think of YOU first. How to be present without being pushy. How to hunt without being desperate. This is your territory. Time to defend it. Date: Wednesday, 30 April 2026
