President Hakainde Hichilema has been calling on Zambians to venture into entrepreneurship. His vision is clear: Zambians must own their resources and build their own destiny. For the first time in 2021, he even created a Ministry of Small to Medium Enterprise Development proof that the time for talk is over, and the season for action is here.
Brothers and sisters, let’s face the truth. No one is coming to save us. Not the Europeans, not the Indians, not the Chinese. Africa must save itself, and Zambia must lead the way.
Right now, our economy looks like this:
- Indians control almost everything in retail.
- The Chinese are digging deep, controlling mines, gravel, and stones even the dust does not escape their hands.
- The Whites are running farms.
- And Black Zambians? We are controlling poverty.
This cannot continue.
It is the right time for Zambians to rise and join the revolution being shouted loudly by none other than Dumisani Ncube, the radical entrepreneur. His voice carries a clear message:
AFRICA MUST THINK.
On the 14th of September, every Zambian young and old, rich or poor must show up for this movement. I will be in Zambia, as a speaker, an audience member, or even a security guard, you must also be there. Because this is not just an event; it is the rebirth of our economic independence.
My dream is big. One day, I want to see British, Americans, Russians, and Chinese lining up to work for us. I want us to be the ones stamping visas and saying: “Sorry, your application is rejected. Africa is full.”
The time is now. Zambia must think. Africa must arise.
